Following an agency-wide e-mail from the Acting FDA Commissioner marking an increased focus on emerging technologies, the agency has forged a research partnership with the National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL) to spur innovation in advanced manufacturing.
